Lauren Daggett, PA-C, studied to become a physician assistant at Chapman University. She decided to pursue medicine after hearing work stories from her mom, a labor and delivery nurse, and dad, a firefighter/paramedic, growing up. Lauren wanted to start her career as a physician assistant in family medicine to help provide access to quality primary care, and she wanted to work in a field that allows her to connect with her patients on a personal level to look beyond their illness and treat them as a whole. Working in family medicine provides Lauren with the opportunity to work with patients of all ages and further expand on the breadth of medical knowledge she was given during school. Lauren wants her patients to know that she is dedicated to getting to know her patients personally in order to provide the best care tailored to their individual needs. She aims to practice preventative medicine and help patients take charge of their health maintenance to keep them feeling their best.
